University Grants Commission (UGC) released new guidelines for the Undergraduate students of the recognized Indian Universities to compulsorily do a research internship of 8-10 weeks according to their curriculum. This decision was taken after the announcement was made under NEP 2022.

The primary aim of the internship program is to generate employability of students as well as in helping develop research capabilities of the candidates.
